RECAP: October 2023 Grapevine Meetup for Entrepreneurs and Businesses – Featuring Lynne Mann of the Crater APEX Accelerator & Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC)

The RISE Grapevine Virtual Meetup was hosted on Thursday, October 16, 2023, 12pm-1pm on Zoom.

To recap, during this virtual meetup, we discussed recent events and upcoming opportunities for entrepreneurs who are starting or growing businesses in Southern Virginia. The meetup was hosted by Hope Harris-Gayles of the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center and the Longwood SBDC, with support from the SOVA Innovation Hub. 

Our featured resource speaker was Lynne Mann, Director of Procurement Technical Assistance at the Greater Crater APEX Accelerator, formerly known as the Crater Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). The Crater APEX Accelerator serves a large region of Virginia, including Southern Virginia.

RISE Business Bootcamp – Application Deadline

This program is ideal for people who are new business owners (started in last 1-3 years), and wanting to get a clear path to accessing capital for growth and scaling. The program is also open to people who are just getting started or have not opened their business yet who are wanting to create a solid business plan before diving in with forming the business.
