RISE Collaborative is a regional initiative (not an entity or organization), hosted by the SOVA Innovation Hub in collaboration with partner organizations, and managed by the regional RISE Collaborative Leadership Team.

RISE Collaborative serves 15 localities in Southern Virginia, which comprise GO Virginia Region 3. These localities include the Counties of Amelia, Brunswick, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax, Henry, Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway, Patrick, Pittsylvania, Prince Edward, and the Cities of Danville and Martinsville.

RISE Navigator & Program Manager

This full-time RISE Navigator & Program Manager position will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the RISE Collaborative regional entrepreneurship initiative, as a member of the RISE Collaborative Leadership Team. This position will be based at the SOVA Innovation Hub in South Boston, Virginia and will require weekly travel within the RISE region. The RISE Navigator & Program Manager role will have a dual focus, 1) serving as a RISE Business Navigator working directly with entrepreneurs to help them access capital for their businesses (60% of effort) and 2) serving as a RISE Program Manager by coordinating the RISE Navigator Program and working with the RISE Project Director to ensure impact across the region (40% of effort).  This job opportunity is through Community Investment Collaborative (CIC), a Community Development Financing Institution (CDFI) headquartered in Charlottesville, VA that is expanding to Southern Virginia in partnership with the SOVA Innovation Hub through the RISE Collaborative regional entrepreneurship initiative.
