National Entrepreneurship Week (#NatlEshipWeek) is an annual, congressionally chartered week celebrating America’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. This year, #NatlEshipWeek is Monday, February 10 through Friday, February 17, 2024.
Entrepreneurs, educators, and ecosystem builders in Southern Virginia are invited to celebrate #NatlEshipWeek with RISE Collaborative! Here are a few ways to celebrate:
- Attend a networking event or training workshop – for example, watch a Virginia SBDC Recorded Webinar on your own schedule, attend the Lunch & Learn at the SOVA Innovation Hub on February 13th, or join The Grapevine Monthly Workgroup on February 15th
- Explore the regional entrepreneur Resource Map to find business resources to help you start, grow, or scale your venture in Southern Virginia.
- Join the national conversation about entrepreneurship by using the hashtag #NatlEshipWeek in your social media posts.
On-Demand Training: Recorded Webinars
The Virginia SBDC is an organization of 26 local Small Business Development Center offices across Virginia – (including the Longwood SBDC which serves Southern Virginia!). The Virginia SBDC provides professional business advising, training, and business resources to help grow and strengthen Virginia businesses. Sometimes, these services are delivered by in small groups as webinars. You can find a library of on-demand training resources in the form of recorded webinars on the Virginia SBDC’s website. National Entrepreneurship Week (#NatlEshipWeek) is an annual, congressionally chartered week celebrating America’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. The “ecosystem” is an analogy for the entrepreneurship resources, funding and tools that entrepreneurs need to start, grow, and scale businesses. The goal of the #NatlEshipCampaign campaign is “to increase awareness, education, and advocacy across all communities, expanding the definition of entrepreneurship education to support new, aspiring, and seasoned entrepreneurs.” Learn more at https://natleshipweek.org
