RISE Summit

This event is being organized by RISE Collaborative, a regional initiative serving Southern Virginia. RISE is hosted by the SOVA Innovation Hub, in partnership with the Longwood SBDC and the Community Investment Collaborative (CIC), and other entrepreneur support organizations.

Registration includes access to all breakout sessions and keynote, light breakfast, buffet lunch, snacks, beverages, event swag, and free Wi-Fi at the conference event on Friday, October 16.

• Early Bird Rate (available July 17 through September 30): $55
• Regular Ticket (available October 1 through October 16): $65

Each individual attendee will need to register to attend the event.

Scholarships are available! If financial assistance would make it possible for you to attend the Summit, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship to reduce the price of the ticket! Complete the RISE Summit Scholarship Request form here.

High school and college students 18 years old and older, and parents/guardians on behalf of students 17 years old and younger, are able and encouraged to apply for a partial or full RISE Summit student scholarship to reduce the price of the ticket. Students who receive a student scholarship will be required to show a valid school ID at check-in. Please submit your request for a student scholarship using the RISE Summit Scholarship Request form. If granted, the promo code to receive the discounted rate will be emailed to the email address submitted through the form.

All attendees age 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or educator. The parent, guardian, or educator must purchase a separate ticket to attend the event. A ticket purchased for anyone 17 years old or younger must be purchased in conjunction with an adult super early bird, early bird, or regular rate ticket.

Yes, the venue is fully accessible. If you have specific needs, please let us know in advance, and we will do all we can to make the necessary arrangements.

Your mobile event ticket for check-in. We suggest bringing business cards (digital or printed) and a notebook/laptop/tablet for notetaking. A laptop is recommended for certain breakout sessions. We also recommend bringing a jacket or sweater in case the venue is cool.
