Whether you’re a business owner looking to grow, an aspiring entrepreneur with a new idea, or an innovator with a fresh product or service, PUMP (Pull Up Mentor Program) offers a chance to discuss your ideas with a member of the RISE Navigator team.

The RISE Navigators are knowledgeable about local, regional, and national resources to support your business journey.

Who Should Attend:

• Aspiring entrepreneurs with new business ideas

• Innovators bringing new products or services to market

What to Expect:

• Personalized Business Mentoring: Meet with the RISE Navigator team to discuss your business ideas and receive tailored guidance.
• Resource Connections: Learn about local, regional, and state resources available to help you start, grow, and scale your business.
• Ongoing Support: Stay connected with us for continuous opportunities to access the resources you need.
• Casual Atmosphere: Feel free to come as you are and drop-in during the PUMP hours. You do not have to arrive at the start time or stay until the end time. Registration is encouraged, but not required. 
• Cost: There is no cost to attend PUMP or to particiate in the RISE Navigator program.

PUMP will be hosted reguarly at the SOVA Innovation Hub located in the Town of South Boston and at the Dalton IDEA Center in the City of Martinsville. We also hope to host PUMP at local libraries, coffee shops, and other community spaces throughout the RISE region, which covers 15 counties and cities in Southern Virginia. PUMP stands for Pull Up Mentor Program. “Pull up” is a phrase to invite someone to come to where you’re at.
