Martinsville is considered the county seat for Henry County, although the County’s administration offices are actually in the Collinsville area. Henry County includes the incorporated Town of Ridgeway. Martinsville-Henry County (MHC) is north of Greensboro, North Carolina; west of Danville, Virginia; and south of Roanoke, Virginia. As of the 2020 census, the combined population of MHC was 64,433 (the population of Henry County was 50,948 [Wikipedia] and the population of Martinsville was was 13,485 [Wikipedia]).
